Meet writers Blas Falconer and Marsha de la O during a lunchtime reading. Lunch will be provided.
Blas Falconer is the author of Forgive the Body This Failure, The Founding Wheel, A Question of Gravity and Light, and The Perfect Hour. He is also co-editor of The Other Latin@: Writing Against a Singular Identity and Mentor & Muse: Essays from Poets to Poets. He teaches in the MFA program at San Diego State University.
Marsha de la O is the author of Antidote for Night, a winner of the 2015 Isabella Gardner Award, and Black Hope, winner of the New Issues Press Poetry Prize and winner of an Editor's Choice, Small Press Book Award. Other awards include the Morton Marcus Poetry Award and the da Poetry Award. She has published extensively, including recent poems in The New Yorker and Kenyon Review, with work forthcoming in Prairie Schooner.
