Williametta Spencer Memorial Concert

All are welcome to join the free Williametta Spencer Memorial Concert in Memorial Chapel.

This is not a memorial service; it is a concert. Works by Franz Schubert, Johannes Brahms, and two pieces composed by Spencer will be performed.

Williametta Spencer '48 (1927 – 2026) was an American composer, musicologist and teacher who played harpsichord, organ, and piano. She is best known for her award-winning choral work At the Round Earth’s Imagined Corners. Please join us in celebrating this remarkable Whittier College alumna.
