“I'm most excited for my chemistry classes, especially my lab classes, because that's where you get to be more interactive. I always wanted to choose a STEM field, and I chose Whittier because I really liked the campus and the small, personalized classes.”

Mickey Rodus, History, Texas

“I came from a small high school myself, so I really liked how Whittier has that same environment. I have the ability to get really close to my professors, which helps with how I learn.”

Jasper BelsonJasper Belson, Film, Colorado

“I wanted to go to a school near Los Angeles because I love the city, and I love doing film, and I want to get into the industry. This is the place for me. I did the tour and fell in love immediately, so after applying and being accepted, I just packed my bags and moved.”

Tralley JacobsTralley Jacobs, Creative Writing and Film, Utah

“I am so excited to start class, especially Introduction to Screenplay Writing — I’m definitely looking forward to it. I love the film scene in LA, and I've always wanted to live near a beach, and now I do, which is awesome.”
