Young Poet Promotes First Novel

Political science and English double major Ronald "R.J." Tolson '16 spent his spring break promoting his recently published fantasy novel, "Zephyr: The West Wind."

"Zephyr" is the first installment in Tolson's "Chaos Chronicles." He is currently workin on book two of the series, "Hugh: The Southern Flame." 

In addition to being an author, Tolson is the founder and CEO of Forever Trust charities and RJTINC.NET, co-CEO of RL Infinity International, founder of Sages of Essence, and president of Living Writers. 

"I like inspiring people to get up and try to do their dreams," said Tolson in a recent interview with WTOP-TV. "And it seems like not a lot of people are doing that. They have obstacles in their way, and they don't know how to get by it. But for me, I had obstacles as well, and I just thought really hard, and tried to be creative, and got around those obstacles or broke them down."
