Max Kaufman '16 and Seth Mahler '10 were selected to the Israeli lacrosse men's national team, which will compete in the 2018 Federation of International Lacrosse (FIL) World Lacrosse Championships. Headquartered in New York City, the FIL is the international governing body for the sport.
This year’s championship will be hosted by the Israeli city of Netanya between July 12 through July 21 and will include 50 participating countries and more than 5,000 fans from around the world.
This marks the very first time since the competition's inception in 1967 that Israel will host the championship.
In addition to participating in this event, each player will be competing in honor of a charity of their choosing.
