Whittier Noted for Campus Diversity

As such, the college was recently included in a list curated by The Chronicle of Higher Education listing colleges that had the highest number of representation of racial and ethnic groups including American Indian, Asian, Black or African-American, Native Hawaiian/Pacific Islander, and Latino. The data encompassed baccalaureate colleges in the United States that have a focus on arts and science, as classified by the 2015 Carnegie Classification of Institutions of Higher Education.
