The Whittier College Music Department, in conjunction with Emerson Bran Management, welcomes its first guest, Justo Almario, in an new, ongoing series "Inside Latin Jazz." Slated for November 13 and 14, the two-day event will feature a 90-minute, intimate interview with international saxophonist Almario, as well as a concert featuring Almario and the Afro-Columbian Ensemble. The series will be moderated by Danilo Lozano, professor in the Whittier College Music Department and Grammy-winning Cuban flautist.
