Reactivating Your Application to Whittier College

Breadcrumb

First-year and transfer students who have previously applied to Whittier College can reactivate their application for a future term.

Applicants may reapply up to two times. If a prospective student is reactivating their application within a year of their original decision, they may use the Whittier College Reactivation Form. If an applicant last applied more than a year ago, a new application must be submitted. Students who originally applied as a first-year student, have graduated from high school, and have completed college courses after high school, should reapply as a transfer student.

Using the Reactivation Form

  • Submit the Whittier College Reactivation Form
  • Submit updated transcripts that include any additional courses you have taken since you last applied
  • Include any additional materials that you feel strengthen your application or help the admission committee understand your circumstances

Previously submitted materials can be used again as supporting documents if they are complete and up-to-date.

Reapplying for Admission

If it has been more than a year since you last applied to Whittier College, please follow these steps.

  1. Follow the application process for first-year or transfer students as applicable.
  2. New application materials (transcripts, letters of recommendation, etc.) may be required depending on the amount of time that has passed since the student's last application
