LEAP’s mission is to involve students in campus life, connect them to the community, and help them channel their inner leader.
With 70 student clubs and organizations on campus, you’re sure to find your niche. From clubs that promote anime to student government to club sports to media and publications groups to societies, there’s definitely something for you. Passionate about something that’s not already out there? Round up your friends and start a club of your own. LEAP also helps students track their involvement at Whittier through a co-curricular transcript.
You need time for fun and friends. Immerse yourself in campus activities. Join us for any of the events and programs hosted each month by LEAP and our student organizations.
Be part of something bigger than yourself. Join Helping Hands Day, a day in which students, faculty, staff, and alumni volunteer in the community. Take part in AIDS WALK LA or Relay for Life. Help at a local food drive. We can link you to many service opportunities, one-time or short term, on campus or off.
For commuter students, the LEAP office can provide a variety of services to fit your needs and keep you connected to the Whittier community.
Give back to campus. Take the lead. LEAP offers a number of development courses and workshops to help students hone their leadership skills.
It’s never too early to start building your resume. We offer students a number of employment opportunities– clerical and technical - at the LEAP office and event space Club 88.
Your life at Whittier College is a time to try anything and everything. LEAP helps get you there.
