Success Stories in French Cultural Studies

Graduates of Whittier College's French Cultural Studies program have used the minor to serve as a perfect complement to their major field of study and career plans.

Recent alumni of the program are completing advanced degrees at institutions both in the U.S. and abroad, and have pursued exciting careers in fields that include education, travel, health, business, banking, art, fashion, and law.

“I interned at a newly-opened gallery called Galerie Marie Cini in the Marais arts district of Paris. I worked closely with the owner designing lookbooks and translating promotional materials from French to English. It was challenging to translate some of the abstract literature. At the time, the gallery had a show at the Louvre exhibition space. Working with such an important institution will always be one of my most treasured memories.” Read more.
