Assessment Resources

The following resources are meant to help programs, departments, committees, and individuals engage in meaningful and systematic assessment.

The purpose of assessment is to improve student learning and understand whether students are learning what they are expected to learn by the end of the course or program. To do this, we must evaluate student learning outcomes. Assessment takes place at many different levels including at the course, program, and institutional level.
