Holy Names University Transfer Students

Whittier College, a residential four-year liberal arts institution located between Downtown Los Angeles and Downtown Anaheim, is pleased to provide Holy Names University (HNU) undergraduate students with a transfer option for Fall 2023.

  • HNU students with a 2.5 GPA or higher will receive guaranteed and expedited admission to Whittier. No personal statement or letters of recommendation will be required. Your application fee will be waived and you'll receive a decision within five days of your submission.
  • Whittier's Office of Financial Aid will work directly with you to ensure your out-of-pocket cost at Whittier is as comparable as possible to your current cost at HNU.
  • A dedicated transfer counselor is on standby, ready to answer questions about your unique situation and review your transcript to maximize transfer credits and discuss a degree path. You'll be able to choose from more than 50 majors and the Whittier Scholars Program, an option that enables you to create your own major.
  • Housing on the Whittier College campus is available and guaranteed.
