Making Connections in Business

Whittier College alumni often return to campus to offer students advice and industry insight.

Recently, Charlie Phillips (Class of 2011) spent an afternoon diving deep into the world of finance with Professor Fatos Radoniqi's business students. Since graduating, Phillips has enjoyed a growing career in wealth management. He's now a partner and senior wealth advisor at Beacon Pointe's Los Angeles office, where he loves building trusting relationships with his clients as he helps them navigate every aspect of their financial lives.

In his afternoon discussion with students, Phillips used those years of experience to guide them in their own professional lives. They took full advantage of the opportunity, picking his brain on everything from networking and mentorship to career transitions and continuing studies.
