Hands-on learning has long been part of Whittier’s curriculum, and through Whittier Works it is now a core element of every student’s academic journey. The College will weave these resume-building opportunities throughout each student's time at Whittier, ensuring they make consistent, meaningful connections between theory and practice. Along the way, students will learn to think critically, communicate effectively, and solve complex problems in real-world contexts.
The Whittier Works initiative will also expand students' access to research and fellowships, as well as finding additional funding for paid internships.
