Advisory Councils

Breadcrumb

Two principal groups comprise the College's advisory councils: the Alumni Association Board and the President's Executive Advisors Council.

Alumni Association Board

The Alumni Association Board  is the elected representative body for the Alumni Association, and is composed of about 30 Whittier College alumni. The Board has an executive branch of officers who regularly meet during the year to discuss issues and initiatives affecting the welfare of the Association in general; the operating relationship between the Alumni Relations Office, the Board, and the Association; and the Association's integration with and support of College events and business.

Alumni, Poet parents, and friends of the College make up the President's Executive Advisory. Members are invited to join the Council by the College President, and commit to serve a three-year term.

President's Executive Advisors Council (PEAC)

The President's Executive Advisor's Council (PEAC) is an action-oriented group of executive advisors to Whittier College's president. The Council consists of visionary volunteers with diverse perspectives, backgrounds, and professional experiences who share an interest in higher education and Whittier College in particular. PEAC members serve as ambassadors for the College, expanding the College's impact by contributing to the development of partnerships and providing trusted advise on strategic issues.
