Emergency Alert System

Blackboard Connect is Whittier College's communications system for sharing important information about situations that affect the safety of our campus community.

Typically, alert messages will be delivered to campus community members as emails, phone calls, and text messages.

If you have any concerns about the validity of an alert message, please call campus safety at ext. 4211 or visit the emergency notice website.

Students, faculty, and staff must enter their cell phone number in the MyWhittier Portal in order to receive text messages and cell calls from the system. Remember to update your contact information and phone number as necessary.
