Leadership Opportunities 

Black Graduation Planning Committee

Members have an opportunity to plan the entire Black Graduation by selecting the theme, decorations, keynote speaker, food, stoles, entertainment, and much more!

Brotherhood Leadership Program (BLP)

Our members join to support the transition of Men of Color to Whittier College through building community, promoting academic success, and giving students an in-depth introduction to campus and its many resources.

Diversity Ambassador

Apply to become a Diversity Ambassador (DA) and support the daily function of the Office of Equity and Inclusion (OEI). Diversity Ambassadors assist in the planning and implementation of programs that promote awareness, advocacy, and critical dialogues on social issues within the Whittier College community. Career Services 

The Center for Career and Professional Development maintains a library of career-related books and employment resource materials that are accessible to students.  

Black Student Association (BSA)

The Black Student Association (BSA) is an empowering experience in the Whittier College community by serving as the primary advocacy organization for Black students. The club represents Black students in political matters and to act as chief liaison between Black students and the University’s Administration. As an organization of young, black, educated students, organized for a joint purpose, they strive to connect with other students of color on campus and to bring unity within our community by elevating involvement through general meetings, fellowship, programs, community service, and support.

Caribbean Student Association (CSA)

The organization strives to create a space for students of the Caribbean diaspora to connect with their culture away from home. As a club, they intend on sharing their culture with the community in hopes that others will acknowledge their existence and adore their culture for what it is.

Dance Team - WC Afro Fusion

The purpose of this club is to create a space for students to creatively express themselves through different forms of dance. The teams performs on campus during sport and campus events upon request and will perform the annual Dance Team Showcase held during the Spring semester.
