CARE provides funding for emergencies to ensure that all students have access to both on and off-campus resources.
Students may request funds for emergency situations that jeopardize their ability to continue their studies.
Priority will be given to cases with urgent needs, extreme hardship, and/or lack of alternative options. The maximum request is $500 per academic year.
The Critical Mental Health Accessibility Program provides immediate, limited funds to support students in crisis, thanks to the support of a generous donor.
Students experiencing housing instability and displacement may request temporary housing with the Office of Housing & Residential Life. Short-term housing assistance ensures students' safety and well-being until they can acquire permanent and secure housing.
The College has a limited number of Windows and Mac laptops for semester use during the academic year. Students who need equipment or software to complete their coursework are encouraged to submit a request.
The College distributes TAP cards to students who rely on public transportation, thanks to a partnership with Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation (Metro).
