At this time, the Counseling Center is providing care virtually through telehealth appointments. On the day of your appointment, you will receive instructions to sign in to the Medicat Patient Portal using your Whittier credentials. Once you've logged in, you'll complete a brief set of forms that will help your therapist understand your history and major concerns that prompted you to seek counseling. Please sign in to the Medicat Patient Portal 15 minutes prior to your appointment to complete these forms.
If you are unable for any reason to keep a scheduled appointment, please call us at 562.907.4239 as soon as possible.
Counseling sessions are provided at no cost to currently enrolled Whittier College students. Costs of services provided are underwritten by the student health fee included in a student’s tuition each semester.
Talk to a counselor online about current concerns, learn ways to cope with the stressors of COVID-19, get help problem-solving, and learn more about how to connect with other resources. Let’s Talk is an informal, confidential consultation available at no cost for all full-time undergraduate students located in the state of California. Consultations are offered by graduate-level counselors from the Whittier College Student Counseling Center under the supervision of a licensed Psychologist.
