Whittier College has long been shaped by remarkable individuals—alumni, faculty, staff, cherished friends, and community members—whose presence enriched our campus and whose legacies continue to inspire.

Now, with the creation of the Forever Poets Memorial, you are invited to help honor those whose lives have left a lasting mark, and to create a legacy of your own that will endure for generations to come.

A Space to Remember and Reflect

Now taking shape on the east side of Villalobos Hall, near the heart of campus, the Forever Poets Memorial will be a welcoming space for reflection, gratitude, and connection. As one of the first to participate, you have the opportunity to shape this new tradition—a lasting tribute to those whose lives and stories have become part of Whittier College’s legacy.

Each plaque will be placed in perpetuity, ensuring that these names and contributions are honored for generations to come.

Create a Lasting Tribute

With a gift of $5,000, you can dedicate a custom plaque honoring a Whittier College alumnus, faculty member, staff member, or friend of the College. You may honor someone who has passed—or reserve a plaque in advance for yourself, or a loved one to be installed in the future.

Each plaque includes:

• The honoree’s name
• Class year (if applicable and preferred)
• Birth and passing years

Plaques will be permanently displayed on the Forever Poets Memorial, standing as a timeless reminder of the impact each individual has made on our community. Your fully tax-deductible gift supports the Whittier Fund, providing vital resources such as student scholarships, faculty support, academic innovation, and student enrichment programs.
