Annabelle (she/her) is a second-year biology and biochemistry double major with a minor in philosophy who plans to attend medical school and pursue surgery and clinical research.
On campus, she is involved in ASWC Senate as the 2026-2027 vice president. She is a Civic Scholar, a student ambassador, and a peer mentor. For fun, Annabelle is also involved in WC choirs and is a member of the cheer team. As a PHE, she hopes to use health and wellness resources to help educate students on many important topics.
Outside of academics, she enjoys hiking, going to the beach, reading, singing, trying new cafes and restaurants, and hanging out with friends.
Cooper (he/him) is a second-year biology major with a minor in chemistry and is currently on the pre-med track.
After seeing previous Peer Health Educators involved around campus, he was inspired to become a PHE and find a way to become more involved in the Whittier College community. As a Peer Health Educator, Cooper hopes to promote community wellness and bring together students from different areas of campus, including athletics, clubs, and societies. He also serves as President of the Franklin Society.
Outside of academics and campus involvement, Cooper enjoys watching movies, with some of his favorites including Interstellar, La La Land, and The Italian Job.
Estrella (she/her) is a second-year psychology major with a minor in public health and is pursuing the pre-med track.
During her first-year orientation, she saw the previous Peer Health Educator cohort and immediately felt drawn to the program. With her outgoing personality and passion for helping others, Estrella hopes to make a positive impact on mental health awareness across the Whittier College student body.
Outside of academics, she plays video games competitively.
Bella (she/her) is a rising senior majoring in sociology with a minor in public health.
As a Peer Health Educator, Bella hopes to strengthen connections between campus resources and student life while helping build a community that educates, uplifts, and supports students at Whittier College.
Outside of academics and campus involvement, Bella enjoys dancing and hiking.
Sam (he/him) is a third-year student majoring in psychology with the intentions of developing a career as a clinical psychologist.
On campus, he is a residential advisor as well as a volunteering member for both K-Poet Radio and Acropolis. As a PHE, Sam wants to curate a campus culture that engages with its students and encourages them to participate, as well as set healthy mindsets about preventing burnout.
Sam loves to pass his time by drawing and looking into the ways animations are made as a hobby, and he loves to spend time with his cats, as well as swimming.
Samantha (she/they) is a senior transfer student majoring in sociology and the Whittier Scholars Program, designing a major called Art Research Theory and Engagement. Their goal is to generate research pertaining to art, culture, and engagement by way of community engagement strategies designed to support the efforts ofpublic-serving institutions.
As a peer health educator, Samantha is committed to promoting a sense of belonging across campus and supporting peers in career development navigation.
Outside of studying, Samantha enjoys skateboarding, reading, visiting art spaces, and showing people around L.A.
