The Class of 1967 Endowed Scholarship Fund

In celebration of our Golden Anniversary and our love for our alma mater, our 50th Reunion class gift campaign aims to permanently establish the Class of 1967 Endowed Scholarship in our honor. 

Our goal is to raise $100,000 in gifts and multi-year pledge commitments. Scholarship awards will begin at $5,000 annually and will undoubtedly grow over time.

Gift Opportunities

  • JGWS Reunion Gift: $3,000 and above
    John Greenleaf Whittier Society membership and associated courtesies, plus a commemorative souvenir and recognition at our 50th Reunion Dinner.
     
  • Wardman Circle Reunion Gift: $1,000 ‐ $2,999
    Wardman Circle Society membership and associated courtesies, plus a commemorative souvenir and recognition at our 50th Reunion Dinner.
     
  • Poet Reunion Gift: $500 ‐ $999
    Commemorative souvenir and recognition at our 50th Reunion Dinner.
     
  • Reunion Gift Participant: Any Amount
    Your gift of any amount toward the Class of 1967 Endowed Scholarship project will help us achieve our fundraising goal of $100,000. Don’t forget to purchase your specially-priced brick on Founders Walkway with a separate $200 gift to the Whittier Fund!
     
  • Legacy Reunion Gift: Any Amount
    Have you considered leaving a bequest through your estate? It’s a wonderful way to support the College and our project without having to make a cash gift during your lifetime. Estate commitments are easier to make than you might think and, yes, the dollar amount will absolutely count as part of our reunion class gift goal. Much has changed since we graduated from Whittier College, but our Poet Pride has remained the same. We have the opportunity to create a lasting legacy for the class of 1967, benefitting a new generation of young Poets, and we’re hopeful for your participation.
