The Whittier College Athletic's Hall of Fame was created to recognize the very best of Whittier College Athletics. New members are inducted to the Hall of Fame every two years.

2018 Inductees

Brad Downey '97 (Men's Lacrosse)

In the NCAA Single Season Record Books he ranks No. 2 in points per game (1996 - 9.59) and No. 8 (1997 - 8.45), No. 1 in Goals Per Game (1996 - 6.29) and No. 16 (1997 – 5.05), No. 1 in Points (1997 – 169) and No. 2 (1996 – 163), No. 2 in Goals (1996 – 107) and No. 3 (1997 – 101).  He was also named an Honorable Mention All-American as an attacker in 1996 and 1997.       

Paul Rowan '83 (Baseball)

 4-year player (1979-1983), Lettered in Football (79-80, 80-81), Co-captain (1981-82, 82-83), First Team All-SCIAC (80-81, 82-83), 2nd Team All-SCIAC (79-80, 81-82), NCAA All District First Team (82-83), NCAA All-American (82-83).

Robin (Ishibashi) Jones '03 (Women's Basketball)

4-year player (1999-03), First Team All-SCIAC (00-01, 01-02, 02-03), Second Team All-SCIAC (99-00), Purple & Gold Female Team Sport Athlete of the Year (00-01, 01-02, 02-03), MVP and Team Captain (00-01, 01-02, 02-03), Honorable Mention NCAA All-American (02-03).

Gerald Hester '62 (Baseball)

4-year player (1959-62), First Team All-SCIAC (60-61, 61-62), Lettered in Basketball (59-60).

2003 Men's Lacrosse Team

Finished with a 10-1 Record and earned Whittier's second berth into the NCAA Division III National Championships.  During their run they beat Stevens Institute (14-5) in the second round and Hampton-Sydney (19-15) in the Quarterfinals before falling to Salisbury (15-8) in the Semi-Finals. 

This squad featured seven USILA All-Americans including Luke Gilbert (1st Team), Kelly Hall (2nd Team), Brian Kelly (2nd Team), Andrew Biers (3rd Team), Aaron Jaffe (3rd Team), Ryder Bateman (Honorable Mention), and Larry Giglio (Honorable Mention).  They had one USILA Scholar All-American (Luke Gilbert) and three who participated in the USILA North/South All-Star Game (Brian Kelly, Luke Gilbert, Larry Giglio).       

1987 Softball Team

Won the inaugural SCIAC Championship, posting a record of 26-11 overall and 11-1 in SCIAC play.  This squad featured three members who are in the Whittier College Hall of Fame as individuals (Julie 'Curtis' Kline, Kathy 'Rodrigues' Garcielita, and Janet Wheeler).
