Students will have the opportunity to receive academic and talent scholarships in addition to need-based financial aid.
Every admitted student is automatically considered for a John Greenleaf Whittier Scholarship, which ranges from $15,000 to $36,000 a year, is awarded based on the academic record and overall strength of the applicant to the college. Notification of the scholarship is sent upon admission to Whittier College.

Students with a work permit are also eligible to receive institutional work-study (if funds are available) which allows students to pursue on campus employment.
