Whittier College is honored to provide our nation's Veterans with an education that leverages their military training and experience to prepare them for fulfilling careers in the civilian workplace.
Qualifying military Veterans are eligible for the Post 9/11 GI Bill, a federal government program that issues up to $21,085 in financial aid per academic year. In instances where Veterans have exhausted their GI Bill allowance, Whittier College offers tuition assistance to subsidize the cost of a Whittier College education. Funds are made possible by the Yellow Ribbon Program and the generosity of the Ahmanson Foundation. Currently, Whittier College offers ten undergraduate recipients with up to $10,000 in Yellow Ribbon Program assistance. For more information on the Post 9/11 GI Bill and the Yellow Ribbon Program, contact Admissions Counselor Fernando Lopez.
