Wardman Library's primary mission is to support the research needs of Whittier College students, staff, and faculty.
Whether you are a first-time researcher just starting a project or a seasoned pro formatting your bibliography, Wardman Library offers a variety of services and resources to further this mission, including reference librarians available for consultation or appointments 112 hours per week, subject-specialist librarians who teach research and information literacy instruction sessions throughout the year, online research guides for individual disciplines and courses, and citation and style guides.
Wardman Library offers a series of open workshops to help faculty, students, and staff learn about library research, Moodle, and other services offered.
Librarians are available to provide in-class instruction on topics like citing sources, research strategies, or specific assignments.
If you would like to request a workshop or arrange for a librarian to lead a library research instructional session for your students, please use our Library Instruction Request Form.
